Why Homeschool?

Scenario:  The phone rings.  You worriedly answer it thinking, "Please don't let it be the school again".

"Hello, is Johnny's mom available?"

"This is is her speaking."

"Hi, this is Mr. Barker with your child's school calling.  We've had another incident with Johnny.  When can you come in and meet with us?"

***Does this sound familiar?***

I've come to realize that public and charter schools are unable to meet the needs of all of their students, especially those with unique ways of learning.  Private schools can be costly and still not meet the needs of your child.  In these crucial years where your child is developing his sense of self  and understanding of the world around him, why not give him a view that includes self-worth.

Home school is an opportunity for your child to realize that learning is not only valuable but enjoyable as well.  There are multiple ways to solve a problem and he is capable of finding solutions that work for him.

He no longer has to worry, "No matter what I do, it's never good enough".  With home school, he will know "I'm good enough just being me."
